One side of the ring depicts the Irish Harp – the ancient symbol of Ireland. The other side of the ring depicts the American Bald Headed Eagle. The top of the ring reads 'Irish American'. Between these two words you can see a tiny star – representing the 52 states of America and a tiny shamrock.
